What our certificate is and isn't.
What it is
- A diagnostic report issued by ELECTRO RENEW SASU on behalf of the shop that ran the test.
- Tamper-evident: signed when saved, and verifiable online by anyone holding the certificate ID.
- A record of the checks the software ran on that device, on that date, with their results.
What it isn't
- Not a third-party certification or accreditation. No external body has audited or approved it.
- It does not attest IMEI blacklist status or carrier lock — neither is measured.
- Not a data-sanitisation certificate: an Android factory reset is recorded as a factory reset, not as erasure to any standard.
- No activation-lock, FRP or carrier-lock bypass is performed or offered.
How reports are signed
Reports are signed with ELECTRO RENEW SASU's own signing key. The signature proves the record has not been altered since it was saved; it is not a third-party accreditation. Integrity can be checked at electrorenew.app/verify.
Reports created before 15 September 2026 and legacy report.html reports are not signed.
